Machining methods and specific techniques for gears
There are two main types of machining methods for open line gears. One is the profiling method, which uses a forming milling cutter to mill the tooth groove of the gear, which imitates the shape. The other is the generating method (expansion method).
(1) Gear hobbing machine: capable of processing helical teeth with a module of 8 or less
(2) Milling machine teeth: capable of processing straight racks and gears
(3) Inserting machine teeth: can process internal teeth
(4) Cold cutting machine teeth: can be processed without chips
(5) Gear planer: capable of processing 16 module large gears
(6) Precision casting teeth: can process cheap small gears in large quantities
(7) Gear grinding machine: capable of machining gears on precision mother machines
(8) Die casting machine teeth: mostly processing non-ferrous metal gears
(9) Shaving machine: It is a metal cutting machine tool used for gear precision machining
